It's never too late to...
find something that suits you
Whatever your health and fitness levels, there's something for you.
Buddy up with a friend for company and to keep each other motivated.
A little goes a long way - anything that gets you moving and raises your heart rate helps.
try something new
There are many free and low-cost activities available in your local area. They're fun and you’ll make new friends!
You're more likely to become active if you create a simple plan first. Keeping a record of your activity can help you stay motivated and see just how much you're improving.
Use our simple activity planner to create your own plan and track the amount of activity you're doing each week. It could make all the difference!
Aim to gradually build up to 2 ½ hours of activity a week. Any activity that lasts for 10 minutes or more counts. This might take time to reach, but our planner can help you to build up your activity in a manageable way.
Having a regular routine can help, so being active becomes part of your day-to-day life.
