Highway Fault Reporting

Report issues on Hertfordshire roads such as potholes, street lights not working, pavement problems and more.

We can't carry out repairs on all reports we receive. Where we consider a report a hazard we will either repair or make the problem safe. All reports will be noted in our system. We monitor reported issues 24/7.

We are currently reviewing the supporting documents for the fault reporting system.

We are aiming to have these completed by the end of February 2017.

Reports, along with routine inspection data, are used to develop on-going maintenance programmes such as the Integrated Works Programme, which lists our planned major roadworks. If you'd like to know more about planned and current Roadworks please look here.

If the highway fault poses an immediate threat to life or limb, please call the Police.

If you have an enquiry on Highways matters rather than reporting a fault please contact us.

Check the progress or subscribe to an existing fault already reported to us. Please ensure that you have your reference number to hand. Or you can search for towns such as Borehamwood, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Stevenage, Watford etc

If you haven’t reported a fault to us before you can view a  video or  a quick guide. At certain times a webchat button on the map is available for you to chat to a customer service representative
