This is the full EHM system training for practitioners who will undertake the role of a Key Worker and initiate and lead on Families First Assessments (FFA). 

Duration: 3 hours

Course Objective

This training is aimed at delegates that will be identified as a ‘Key Worker’ to support families through the Families First Assessment and Team Around the Family (TAF) Review Process within Hertfordshire. This will focus on Early Help pathways and processes, how to complete a Families First Assessment and how to  manage the TAF Review Process. You will learn how to effectively undertake an FFA with families to ensure a holistic overview of current family need is evidenced and gain a better understanding of how to be an effective Key Worker for families.

Expected Outcomes

Practitioners will be confident to initiate Families First Assessments, use EHM system, undertake the Key Worker role and know how to access additional practice support should they need this.
