What kind of things, if any, are you and your partner doing differently as a result of using Arguing better?
Taking our time to talk about where things went wrong without pointing fingers, listening to one another. Communication is key. We try to understand each other’s point of view before arguing our own. It has helped us stay calm and reach compromises faster. Taking time for ourselves to regulate before having a hard conversation.

What have you learned from using Me, You and Baby Too?
The most valuable lesson I've taken away from 'Me, You and Baby Too' is that a healthy relationship is built on intentional balance; I learned that to offset a single negative moment like criticizing, I must actively practice the 5:1 'Magic Ratio' by providing five positive moments such as hugging, laughing, or showing interest. I also learned how to use the sliding scale to honestly assess our conflict levels, moving us away from 'arguing all the time' toward a goal of listening and 'getting on OK' for the sake of our family's well-being."

What have you learned from using Getting it right for children?
I learned that as soon as communication starts with the other parent its generally defensive and all about what is best for the parents and not necessarily the children.
The different strategies that were used on each clip broke down that conflict and shown how with taking a step back and listening to each other for the benefit of the children really helps, taking the adult decisions away from the children & not allowing them to be apart of the adult conversations also was really helpful, this seemed to keep the children more relaxed and it was positive for them that their parents could work together for them too.
