Holiday Activity Programme (HAPpy)

Hertfordshire’s Holiday Activity and Food Programme (known locally as HAPpy) runs during the Easter, Summer and Winter holidays. HAPpy Camps provide a range of fun experiences including physical activity, enrichment, a healthy meal and snacks for eligible children.

Who is eligible?

Your child must meet the following criteria (referred to as Targeted FSM by the Department of Education) 

• Aged 4-16 (reception to year 11)
• Registered to receive free school meals
• Household income below £7,400.

If you are eligible, we will automatically send a booking code to the email address you used to register for free school meals. This will be up to six weeks before the HAPpy camps open.

To organise Hertfordshire's Holiday Activities and Food Programme, Hertfordshire County Council has joined forces with:

• Hertfordshire Community Foundation.
