Hertfordshire County Council is carrying out a statutory consultation on the proposal to close Albury C of E VA Primary School, Church End, Albury, Hertfordshire, SG11 2JQ
Consultation closing date: 24 March 2026 (11.45pm)
An earlier consultation on the proposal was carried out between Monday 17 November 2025 to Sunday 14 December 2025. All the responses received during that stage have already been shared in full with members of the Education, SEND & Inclusion Panel and with Cabinet. Taking all views into account, Cabinet took the decision when it met on Wednesday 11 February to publish a statutory notice on the proposal to close Albury C of E VA Primary School.
The publication of this statutory notice marks the start of a four-week representation period where anyone is invited to submit further views, comments or additional information for the County Council to consider before a final decision is made.
Any views or comments expressed during this statutory representation period will be made available to Cabinet to inform its final decision on the proposal when it meets on Wednesday 22 April 2026.
