What can we offer?

  • 1 Conference Hall with a delegate capacity of up to 250 people

Rooms

We have eleven rooms available for hire. All our rooms feature air-conditioning, natural daylight, and integrated AV equipment. Take a look at our floor plan.

Room hire prices for Hertfordshire County Council staff are available on the staff intranet.

Layout Options

Mini Boardroom - Our standard layout, rooms will be set as mini board room if no other layout is requested. The room will be set with 6 chairs/delegate per table, facing forward.

Semi-circle of chairs - Chairs only, no tables. 

Boardroom - A closed or u-shaped boardroom, we have a set of tabletop microphones available for hire, if required. Contact us to discuss options.

A half day booking is either 8.30am to 12.30pm or 1pm to 5pm.

Half day bookings that go beyond or start before 12.30pm will be charged as a full day.

Rooms are available to book on a per day basis only. The training centre opens at 8am Monday to Friday; there will be no access to rooms before this time. Consideration should be given to setup and preparation time for the trainer/s before the arrival of delegates and the start of your event. All events should be finished by 5pm. If your event is due to last less than a full day you will still be charged the single, full day rate.

Each room can safely accommodate two trainers in addition to delegates, The Standard set up for each room will be Mini Boardroom.

Catering and hospitality

We offer a wide range of catering hospitality throughout the day with options to take your refreshments in the training rooms, breakout areas or staff restaurant. We are always happy to discuss your individual needs and put together a menu tailored to suit you and your delegates, whatever the event.
