Findmypast.co.uk lets you search resources in England, Scotland and Wales. You can find a range of resources here from school log books to parish registers.

Ancestry.com lets you delve deeper into your family's past, with worldwide resources at your fingertips!

With records dating back to 1060, we have over 3 million documents available to help you on your journey of discovery.

You can search our online archive catalogue and contact us if you'd like to:

  • come in and view the documents you've found online
  • obtain quality images
  • order a copy of a document.

Come along to our monthly family history club to help you progress with your research.  

If you're stuck and need some help to get started, you can arrange a family history surgery where you'll get one-to-one expert advice. These can be booked on:

Tuesday to Thursday from 10am - 3.30pm
Friday from 10am - 12.30am
1 hour slots are available
£10 per session
