Details Response to petition Title: Save Leahoe House from falling into further disrepair. Petition Overview: To prevent the much loved Leahoe house, Hertford from falling into further disrepair and restore this valuable historic asset to its former glory. Sadly since the demise of the Leahoe Sports and Social Club the building has been neglected and vandalised. Leahoe House holds a special place in the collective hearts of local residents, current and ex employees of Hertfordshire County Council and the many sports clubs that have used its facilities. Steps were taken to ensure its security in late 2015 and no further incidents have occurred. The building does not conform to modern day requirements for commercial use and we are working to deliver an affordable solution for the property going forward. The outcomes of this work will be subject to the normal county council processes on its completion.
