About Watford Register Office

The ceremony room at Watford Register Office is currently unavailable due to construction work. However, we're delighted to offer ceremonies at nearby Cheslyn House.

This character filled house, designed by renowned architect Henry Colbeck, is set within 3.5 acres of stunning gardens and woodlands and offers the perfect backdrop to your special day.

The room accommodates 20 guests so is perfect for more intimate gatherings.

Ceremonies are available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (8am – 5pm) between 1 April and 30 September 2026.

From 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027, ceremonies are available every Friday (8am – 5pm).

And between 1 April 2027 and 7 May 2027, ceremonies are available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays (8am – 5pm).

'You and Two' ceremonies (couple and 2 witnesses) are still available to book on Wednesday mornings at Watford Register Office.
