About WasteAware

WasteAware is a partnership of all 10 local district and borough councils, and the county council. Your local council is responsible for bin collections and street cleansing, whereas Hertfordshire County Council runs the recycling centres. Together we work to support residents to reduce, reuse and recycle Hertfordshire’s waste.

Hertfordshire County Council is responsible for enquiries and complaints about recycling centres, including recycling centre permits.
