What we will do with your information

The information you give us will be held by the Trading Standards department (Community Protection) Hertfordshire County Council and will only be used in regards to the Volunteer Scheme for the purposes of recruiting new volunteers, engage with you and, should your application be successful, to meet our obligations to facilitate the scheme.  Your information will only be used for this purpose. 

In order to deliver this service, we will share your information with other Community Protection personnel operating outside of Trading Standards who facilitate and operate the volunteer scheme and therefore require access to your information.

We will not share this information with a third party or use it for any other purpose.

How long we will keep your information

The information that you supply to us will be kept on file for 6 years after the last action. Should your application to become a volunteer be unsuccessful, we will delete all data we hold relating to your volunteer scheme application.
