Background

Road safety is a shared responsibility. Organisations in our partnership such as the council, police and emergency services have specific duties, but everyone who uses Hertfordshire’s roads plays a role in shaping how safe our journeys and places are.

We recognise that risks are not evenly spread. Some people are more exposed to danger, and some streets and routes experience greater impacts from traffic, speed or road layout. Your views will help us understand which road safety issues and priorities matter most to people who live, work and travel in Hertfordshire.

There are no right or wrong answers. You do not need technical knowledge. We are interested in your experience and views. If you are responding on behalf of an organisation, please answer from that perspective.

If you would like to report a fault on the highway you can report a fault.

If you have any other highways concerns you can suggest an improvement.
