We are developing a new Local Transport Plan that will guide transport improvements across the county up to 2050.

Transport affects all of us in everyday life. It influences how we travel to work, school, shopping and healthcare, how businesses operate, and the quality of life in our communities.
The current plan was published in 2018 and needs updating to reflect changing travel needs, new national transport guidance, future growth, and our ambitions for a more sustainable transport system.
The Plan will help shape future investment in roads, buses, rail, walking, cycling, accessibility, road safety and new technologies, to create a transport network that is safer, more reliable, inclusive and sustainable, and promotes economic growth, supporting Hertfordshire to continue to be a place where people choose to live, work and visit.
Before the Plan is finalised, we want to hear your views.
We have already engaged with residents and stakeholders on the vision and objectives for the Plan. We are now seeking views on the full draft document before it is finalised.
Your feedback will help us refine the Plan and ensure it reflects the priorities and needs of people across Hertfordshire.
