Countryside Management Service Volunteering


Enjoy Hertfordshire's countryside through a variety of volunteering opportunities.

Create and restore wildlife habitats and work to improve access to the countryside.

Help people to get more active by leading short brisk walks with routes and details planned in advance.

Help us manage a local green space, like a nature reserve or park. You don't need any previous experience to join a group as we provide training.

A group of local people who manage the Broxbourne Woods National Nature Reserve.

Contribute to the upkeep of more than 3,000km of footpaths, bridleways and byways in the county.

Lead informative walks and other activities in the countryside to encourage people to get outdoors.

Individuals, groups and businesses can get involved in projects and improve the environment in Hertfordshire.
