Coronavirus

During the Coronavirus pandemic we're changing the way we are working to protect our customers and our staff.

Please submit your application online and pay via bank transfer/online. Any postal applications or cheque payments will not be processed until further notice.

If you recently made a postal application or paid by cheque please contact us on 0300 123 4047.

You need a licence before you can place hoarding on a public road, verge or pavement. A hoarding is a temporary fence enclosing a construction site.

Before you start, you'll need your public liability insurance certificate (minimum of £10 million).

Prices

A 14 day hoarding licence costs £96. It's £43 for every week after.

When we receive your application, we'll consider:

  • traffic on the street where you want the hoarding
  • danger and disruptions caused
  • width of the road and pavement
  • access to surrounding property
  • planned or existing roadworks.

We may visit the site whilst the hoarding is in place to make sure our safety requirements are met.
